These are the terms for using Cellar. They are deliberately short.

Using Cellar

Cellar is for keeping track of drinks you own. You need an account, you are responsible for what happens under it, and you should keep your password to yourself. You must be old enough to buy alcohol where you live.

Your content is yours

The photos, notes and ratings you add remain yours. You give Cellar permission to store them and to display them back to you and to anyone you deliberately share a cellar or a bottle with — that permission exists only so the app can work.

What the assistants are for

Rémy and Brew make suggestions, and the label scanner reads labels and looks up prices. All of it is generated automatically and can be wrong: vintages, prices, tasting notes and availability are best treated as a starting point rather than fact. Nothing either assistant says is professional advice of any kind.

Availability

Cellar is provided as it is, without a guarantee that it will be available or that data will never be lost. Keep your own copy of anything you would be upset to lose — the app can export a cellar to a file.

Ending it

You can delete your account at any time from Account settings, which removes your profile and the cellars you own. We may suspend accounts that are being used to break these terms or the law.

Changes

These terms may change as Cellar does. The date at the top says when they last did.
